The history of the cheese factory begins the day we decided to stop selling the milk our goats produce and start making cheese. Mas

Alba cheeses have clear principles: taking great care of the herd and its food, using only the milk of our goats and making with raw milk.

Over time we have introduced some changes that give us uniqueness: we only use vegetable rennet, herbacol.

The cheeses

I am Martí, the cheesemaker and instigator of this great change, but luckily I got the whole family excited and we set off on the adventure together.

I make 7 different cheeses: El PetitOt, El Cremós, El Terrós, L’Uff!, El Pla, el Voler Volar and El Babaus. All of them are interpretations of well-known cheeses from around the world, and each one has its own story.

Meet them all
